The Mont Marte Water Mixable Oil Paints, from the Mont Marte series, can be thinned with water without the need for traditional solvents like linseed oil and turpentine. Like traditional Mont Marte oil paints, they feature a high concentration of pigment, good viscosity, and high lightfastness. They can be applied with both a palette knife and a brush, allowing for impasto techniques, but they can also be thinned with water to achieve watercolor-like effects.
